Who? Coordinated by EURORDIS and celebrated by various disease related organizations, like the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance who will be sharing information on other rare diseases on social media every Tuesday and Thursday of February. This day is for anybody affected by a rare disease – patients, families, advocates, doctors, nurses, researchers, government officials, pharmaceutical companies, disease specific organizations and foundations, etc.
Why? The main purpose of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness and make an impact on patients lives.
